With weights and pendulum. H250 W48 D27Henry Hindley originally from Wigan (Lancs) is recorded as working in York from Petergate 1731-41 then Stonegate 1741-1771. A Victorian Parcel-Gilt Silver Caddy-Spoon, by George Adams, London, 1860 with leaf-shaped bowl and scrolling handle81mm long, 11dwt, 17grFully marked on edge of bowl. The marks are generally clear. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The gilding is very pale in places.

Some wear and chips to the inside of the lid, as well as some scratches. The figural scene on the lid is also faded. Other chips, flaking and marks throughout the piece. Loss of gilding to the rim aswell. The two smaller Mandarin palette bowls are in good overall condition. One has a very small chip to the rim. Both have loss of gilding to the rims.
