Lot 104 – teapot tea caddy. Old hairline splits to lid and around the back edge of lid where it meets the hinge. The lid with a slight smile. Old surface marks, dents and minor scratches to surface overall. Some wear to gilding especially to the fan patera on the front of the caddy and also to a finial and detailing on the handle. Old hairline cracks to base.

Lot 105 – tortoiseshell tea caddy. Small chips with losses to corners of lid. Some losses to pewter stringing and minor lifting. Old damages and losses around the hinges. Lid warped slightly, small nicks to tortoiseshell on edges of body with some losses. Two mother of pearl leaves missing. Old chips to edges of lids to the interior. A little warped, one corner repaired. Two different handles. Lock tooth missing. Some veneer chips to base. One foot loose, needs re-fixing.
λ An early Victorian tortoiseshell pagoda shape tea caddy, inlaid with pewter stringing, the front with mother of pearl flowers, the interior with ivory edging and twin lidded divisions with vegetable ivory handles, on ball feet, 13.5cm, 19cm wide, 12.5cm deep. Lot 106 – a tortoiseshell tea caddy. General wear consistent with age and use with small nicks to edge of lid and corners with minor losses. Some pewter stringing lifting to the back right corner. Some veneer cracks to the back of the caddy and around the hinges. The front is inlaid with mother of pearl on what appears to be tortoiseshell but could possibly be a faux tortoiseshell ground, with some cracks and losses to the pewter stringing on the right hand edge. Some small chips to the base with a repair. The interior lids are slightly warped. Evidence of re-gluing to one ivory foot. Slight lifting to some tortoiseshell.
