AN EARLY 20TH CENTURY PEWTER CADDY SPOON with an enamelled boss, by Liberty & Co., and a larger pewter caddy spoon with a round, hammered bowl, and four small intaglio pellets on the terminal, by Hugh Wallis, c.1920; the latter 3.75" (9.6 cms) long (2) *Hugh Wallis (1871-1943), artist & metalworker became a leading figure in the Northern Art workers Guild.
A RARE SCOTTISH HANDMADE CADDY SPOON decorated along the stem with wirework and inset with a triangular piece of abalone shell, the re verse with applied wire; a wire twist floret within a border and signed with the letter "T" made up of punched beads, by Mary Thew, Glasgow c.1925; 3.1" (8 cms) long; 0.3 oz *Mary Thew (1876-1953) attended the Glasgow School of Art, where she met Jessie M. King & her husband. Thew is known for Celtic influences, her work in the Arts & Crafts style and her "trademark" wirework surrounding stone & shell inserts.

A quantity of metal detector finds including milled coins, trade tokens, a horse brass, fragments of a decorated caddy, crotal bell and fragments, military cap badge, brass cigarette lighter and other items. 3.1 kg, 15-97mm (1/2 - 4"). Property of a Kent lady; by inheritance; found Kent, UK, 2005-2012. [No Reserve] Fine condition.
An Edwardian Silver Mounted Tortoiseshell Tea Caddy, Martin Hall & Co, Sheffield 1902, modelled as a knife box with pierced silver mounts, the interior with single pull off cover, 10cm high Both sets of mounts clearly marked and hinged handle to cover part marked. No key present. Interior cover lacking handle. Cover not closing completely flush at front. Veneers generally in good condition.
