An early 20th century burr walnut vanity box with mother of pearl decoration and escutcheon, the hinged lid enclosing a sectioned pull out tray, width 30cm, a small mahogany jewellery box with recessed brass carrying handle and escutcheon, the hinged lid enclosing sectioned tray above glass fall front and two small drawers, width 21cm, and a sarcophagus shaped tea caddy, width 27.5cm (af) (3). CONDITION REPORT: Water damage to the top of the box with glass front. This same box has losses to veneer around the base. Caddy: Lacking interior. Split to side of the lid of jewellery box.
A mid 19th century tortoiseshell and mother of pearl inlaid sarcophagus tea caddy, with two section interior (one lid missing), raised on four turned vegetable ivory bun feet, 14 x 19 x 12cm (af). CONDITION REPORT: Several mother of pearl panels missing on lid and both shorter sides of the base. The lid has got a replaced handle (a Phillips screw), there are losses of tortoiseshell to corners underneath the lid.
