A George III ivory single compartment tea caddy, with a domed cover, tortoiseshell borders and an oval white metal plaque within a mother-of-pearl border, 11.5cm high The initials to the plaque are those of Henry Fane, son of Thomas 8th Earl of Westmorland of Fulbeck Hall, Lincs. CONDITION REPORT: Splits to ivory of all side panels. Front panel with minor concave warp. Interior of lid relined and interior lid replaced. Remaining foil worn. Replacement baize to base. Some discolouration to ivory.
