A Chinese Export black and gilt lacquer games or table box, 19th century, of rectangular form, the lift-off caddy top elaborately decorated with figures, pagoda, pavilions and flowers and foliage over a conforming case, the interior with five lift-out lidded boxes, raised on patinated metal paw feet. 12cm by 32cm by 28cm.
An early twentieth-century walnut tea caddy, complete with glass centre bowl and two lidded compartments, H-15cm x L-31.5cm, and a twentieth-century tortoiseshell trinket box, inlaid with Mother of Pearl, together with a walnut sewing box also inlaid with Mother of Pearl, housing a quantity of sewing materials, and a wooden casket / vanity box, lightly carved with a scene of dancers and musicians, paired with a late Victorian sewing box, walnut with a mahogany trim, and a second walnut example, depicting a BS in a silver tone script on the lid, housing four sixpence coins.
