A COLLECTION OF GEORGIAN AND VICTORIAN SILVER CADDY SPOONS AND SHOVELS, including a George III bone-handled shovel, by William Lea & Co, Birmingham 1811; a crested shovel with green stained ivory handle, maker TW; etc. (6)CONDITION REPORTMarks generally well struck - lightly rubbed to some, but legible. The crested shovel with green stained ivory handle has small split to top edge of shovel, adjacent to hallmark; evidence of possible repair to where the handle joins the back of the shovel bowl. Bone-handled George III shovel with small split to silver handle fixing point. Minor dings and light scratches throughout, commensurate with age and use. Weighable silver 1.4 troy ounces
A GEORGE III SILVER TEA CADDY, by Andrew Fogelberg & Stephen Gilbert, London, c.1780, maker's mark only, of shaped oval form with domed lid, bright-cut engraved with bands of flowers and laurel wreaths, engraved with a "P" within a cartouche with ribbon-tied crest. 11cm high, 14cm wide, 13.1 troy ouncesCONDITION REPORTStruck with makers mark only. The lid very slightly ill fitting but will nip down flush. A few small dings and some minor surface wear commensurate with age. Generally in good condition.
A Dutch silver tea caddy, by Gerardus Schoorl, 1910, oblong, the sides stamped with figures at play in landscapes or interiors, the shoulder chased with foliage, with pull-off cover, 10cm high, 4oz 14dwt, 146grCondition report: . Marked underneath, on sides and on cover. There is some wear to the marks, though they are generally still clear. There is some overall minor surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The wear is noticeable as a minor softening to the high points. The finial on the cover is bruised.
