An 18th century George III walnut crossbanded square Tea Caddy inlaid with boxwood stringing, together with two Italian Sorrento ware miniature tilt-top Loo Tables inlaid with musicians and dancers, (3) CONDITION REPORT: One of the table tops seems to have a 7cm crack along the top and a smaller crack also emanating from the edge of the table top although not visible underneath, the second slightly larger table upon inspection has some cracking of the varnish and minor scuffing to table top although the rest of the piece appears in fairly good order, the tea caddy has had some polishing at some stage, minor restoration although looks to be of good colour, would have stood on four presumably gilded ball feet which are now absent
A 19th century tortoiseshell and silver mounted Tea Caddy lined with foil, the Caddy of sarcophagus form and with vacant central silver cartouche in High Rococo style, tapering sides to shilling plate and ring handles and raised on acanthus carved feet terminating in scrolls, 14cm wide (including handles) CONDITION REPORT: Viewed from the back the right hand top side of the hinged lid has a small 1cm piece of tortoiseshell veneer away top right and viewed from the right hand side the back right hand leg section has a small triangular piece to the lower right which has been re-fixed at some stage, the escutcheon is missing, otherwise generally in good overall condition for age.
