A 19th century Chinese tea caddy, square, with six character mark to base Xianfeng circa 1851-1861. Height 36 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: Both the vase and the lid are in very good condition with no damage, no repairs and no restoration. There are no hairline cracks. There are some very minor firing marks to the glaze particularly on the corner edges but no issues of any note.
A mahogany bookcase, with caddy top and three glazed doors with shaped wooden astragals enclosing adjustable shelves and raised on bracket feet. Width 164 cm. CONDITION REPORT: Depth 33 cm, height 122.5 cm, width 164 cm. The bookcase is in generally extremely good condition. It is a good colour. There are no significant scuffs, marks or scratches. The doors are not warped. The locks are present and we have a key. The bracket feet are in good condition. The backboards are original.
A George III tea caddy, with original Rococo handle. CONDITION REPORT: The interior of the caddy has one single lid across three apertures. The lid is probably a later replacement. The dividers between the apertures may well be later also. The lock appears to be a replacement. There is no compartment for a teaspoon.
A 19th century Chinese carved wooden tea caddy, decorated with dragons and foliage. Height 20 cm. CONDITION REPORT: There has been a small repair to one corner of the roof of the pagoda top. Other than this the lid and the caddy are in good order. The interior pewter liner is a little dented in places but in generally good condition also.
A George III and later ebonised bracket clock, with two-train fusee movement striking on a bell. Height excluding carrying handle 37.5 cm, width 28.75 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The clock is in generally extremely good condition. It is ticking away and striking as it should. The movement winds on both trains. The case is in generally very good order with no significant condition issues. The front door is not warped. All of the metalwork is present and in generally good condition. The feet have lost much of their original lacquered finish as have the flat sections to the caddy top. The dial is in generally good order. The hour hand is missing its tip. We have a key and the brass pendulum retainer is present.
A George III inlaid mahogany tea caddy, shell inlaid and with canted angles. Width 18.5 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: Very good condition. A good colour with no issues with the veneers. The interior has been later paper lined has have the lids. The hinges are original has is the lock plate and lock.

CONDITION REPORT: Right hand carrying swans neck handle missing. Rear hinges original and good. Plaque Daniel London to interior. Lock present, good condition. Top front and sides in good order. Base in generally good condition with only minor scuffs. Right hand drawer brass drop handle missing, left hand drawer locked. Legs original and in good order.
A 19th century boulle marquetry twin fusee bracket clock, by Green & Ward, Cockspur Street, London. Height 44.5 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The movement winds on both trains. It appears to be ticking away as it should. The movement is striking when advanced to the hour but does not cease striking. The clock face is a little dirty and has some surface scratches. There are hairline cracks around the numerals 2, 4 and 5. The gilding around the signature on the surround is rubbed. We are not sure if the tortoiseshell is simulated or not. Whatever the case there are numerous small losses to the marquetry to both the caddy top and the remainder of the body. The brasswork to the front of the caddy top is thin and worn in the centre. There may have been some form of plaque or other moulding. There are some small losses to the brass fretwork. The original finish to the brasswork is not present. All feet and corner brackets are original and present. The movement appears to be original to the case and is twin fusee.
A small pair of Victorian silver bun-top peppers by Frederick Sibray and Job Frank Hall, London, 1888, chased with shells and foliate scrolls, 4.6 cm. high; a small French silver wine taster, bowl set with small ancient Roman coin, sides stamped with flowers, late19th/early 20th century; a Victorian silver magnifying glass frame by William Comyns, London, 1889, rim pierced and chased with putti amidst foliage, handle with conforming chasing (lacks glass lens), 22 cm. long; an Indian silver gourd-shaped box with pull-off cover, circa 1900; a Georgian silver leaf caddy spoon with vein-chased bowl, the tendril ring handle present but detached (marked in bowl with king's head and lion passant only), wt. 273 gm.Overall good condition apart from snapped-off but present tendril handle to caddy spoon and small repair to chasing on rim of magnifying glass.
A silver tea caddy of oval quatrefoil form, marks indistinct, Chester, 1915, the four claw feet terminating in cartouches, domed cover with hinged ring handle, gilt interior, 12.5 cm. long, wt. 190 gm.Highly polished which has resulted in marks on side being very worn so only date letter and remains of town mark visible but clear lion passant and date letter to rim of cover, otherwise in good order.

(4) CONDITION REPORTS: Teapot handle broken, mostly lacking, finial to teapot loose, tea caddy finial loose but present, cream jug handle split, some denting and misshaping, general wear. Approximately 39 troy ounces.
