1990 VW Caddy MK I Pick-UpMake: Volkswagen Model: Caddy Year: 1990Mileage: 228315VIN: WVWZZZ14ZLW006462Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: G561MPWTransmission: manualVolkswagen's original Caddy was a van and pick-up based on the VW Golf MkI, and built from 1978 to 1995. Originally only available in the USA, the type was introduced to Europe in 1982 and outlasted the MkI Golf it was based on by 12 years. It's a testament to the longevity of these Volkswagens that this 1990 1588cc diesel pick-up has notched up 228,315 miles according to the odometer (although this is unwarranted). The V5C records six former keepers. Its condition reflects a workhorse that has obviously seen a lot of use, with its last MoT expiring in September 2018. However, the vendor reports that it 'starts well and runs fine' and might make an ideal 'rat-look' project. A new battery is a recent fitment and there are five original wheels plus other spares in the back of the truck. The V5C is present and there is a printed MoT summary back to April 2006, when the mileage was recorded as 130,534. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR VIDEO PRODUCED 12TH OCTOBER BY ACA OF THIS CAR.
