A George III mahogany cased caddy top bracket clock, with silvered 15cm dial and eight-day striking movement, with signed backplate, 38cm high/see illustration/Provenance: Plas Gwyn, Anglesey Condition Report: Condition generally poor. Case is missing the right hand return and one leg. Top unglued. Grilles with loose material. Dial tarnished. Movement is missing the pendulum and the drums are loose. Backplate signed J. Moreland, Chester.

A George III silver tea caddy, R & S Hennell, London 1804, of oval shape with engraved bands of foliate scrolls, 14.5cm wide, approximately 430gm /see illustration/Provenance: Plas Gwyn, Anglesey Condition Report: Hair crack to ivory finial. Area around wing nut beneath cover looks rough - possibly a repair. Marks crisp. Wear and a couple of small dents in line with age and usage. A pair of faint italic initials can be seen either side of the seam to the inside back of the caddy, they are not visible to the exterior.

Handles of dish cross are very malleable and bend very easily. Tea caddy fair. Basket fair. All with signs of copper coming through.
