A Victorian Silver Tea-Caddy, by Henry Wilkinson and Co., Sheffield, 1838, in the George III style, bombé and on four scroll-cast feet, chased with a foliage and rocaille cartouche with an engraved coat-of-arms, the cover with baluster finial, 13.5cm high, 9oz 9dwt . Fully marked on one side and on cover. There is wear to the marks with some only partly visible. There is otherwise overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The wear is noticeable as a softening to the high points and engraving.
