An early 20th century hallmarked silver tea caddy. The caddy in the form of a tureen having a footed base rising to oval form. The caddy having twin handles and hinged lid with serpentine rim with ivory (see footnote) finial in the form of a pineapple. Hallmarked for London, 1913. Makers mark rubbed to be illegible. An Art Nouveau silver and enamel tea caddy to a design by Archibald Knox, Liberty & Co., Birmingham 1905, the circular cover centred by a turquoise cabochon, the square caddy with enamelled motifs to the sides, numbered 692 beneath, 9cm high x 6cm widesome slight damage to the enamel, rim slightly dented from lid, a very small dent to one of the top edges. Will clean up.
