A Regency amboyna and conch shell inlaid canted rectangular tea caddy, the hinged top opening to reveal two lidded canisters 19 cm wide CONDITION REPORTS Wear, scuffs, fading. Drying cracks throughout, and some losses to the veneers. Some lifting to veneers. Some small fillered areas. Interior linings mostly worn/flaked away. The 'reeded pilaster' effect on the front canted corners is shaded marquetry inlay. Overall appears to be of good quality but requires a little attention.
A 19th Century burr walnut and pollard cross-banded tea caddy of bombé form with applied gilt brass mounts, the hinged top opening to reveal a converted three division interior, raised on squat bun feet, 23 cm wide CONDITION REPORTS Very faded. Drying cracks and warping to veneers. Losses to veneers. Chips and lifting to stringing and veneers. Losses and scratches. Catch appears to have been altered and wood lining appears to be later. Losses to escutcheon. Underside of base may also have had alterations (see photos). Overall in need of restoration.

A Late 18th Century Italianate Carved, Painted and Gilded Tabernacle. The glazed cabinet having an arched door and side panels, surmounted by a caddy top with gilded finials. The break-front corners adorned with Corinthian columns. 25½ ins (90 cms) tall, 20 ins (51 cms) wide and 13½ ins (34 cms) deep.
