A George III mahogany longcase clock by Jeremiah Martin, Tottenham, the 12ins arched brass dial with silvered chapter ring with Roman and Arabic numerals, with subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture, matted dial centre and strike/silent dial to arch, to the eight day two train movement striking on a bell, contained in mahogany case with arched and moulded cornice to hood, the arched trunk door flanked by fluted quarter columns, the base with raised rectangular panel and double plinth base, 89ins high, (whole in need of extensive restoration - lacking pendulum, weights and part of door - caddy top reduced in height) Note: Jeremiah Martin of Tottenham was the son of Jeremiah Martin who was an apprentice toThomas Tompion of London.
A Fabulous 17th Century Needlework Casket contained in a later glazed display case. The casket clad in fine tent-stitch panels edged with metallic braid, depicting figural scenes including some biblical allegories. The caddy top featuring Rebecca at the well to the hinged rectangular lid, with Abraham's sacrifice to the sides, enclosing a cerise silk lined box compartment. The cabinet doors portraying two fine ladies in palace grounds, opening to reveal an embroidered silk interior worked with a variety of stitches in richly coloured silks & metallic threads and incorporating some stump work details. The drawer fronts adorned with delightful embroidered animals, bird and flowers, incorporating a mid-way glass slide infilled with glittering mica. The doors with portraits of King Charles and Queen Henrietta. 12¼ ins (31 cms) high, 9½ ins (24 cms) wide, 7½ ins (19 cms) deep.

A 19th century tea caddy modelled in the form of a double fronted cottage with pitched roof having two chimney stacks and a central dormer window. With painted roof tiles, leaded windows, red panelled door and bushes over a pale ochre ground. Housing two compartments each with turned bone button knops, 18.25cm wide. Condition Report. To be used as a guide only. No breaks. Some wear only. Sold with key. Lock functioning.
An Old Sheffield Plate tea caddy of ovoid partially fluted form. With ivory finial and stepped hinged cover housing two compartments. Engraved to the body with a trailing band of leaves and flowers and with a family crest and motto; fortitudine over a sword spearing a wild boars head, possibly Erskine of Carnock, 16.5cm. Condition Report. To be used as a guide only. Wear to the plating. Lock non functioning. Dent to the foot.
A fine Victorian mahogany marquetry longcase clock of tall proportions by Maple & Co. London. With fluted caddy top having brass finials, carved acanthus column supports flanking the hood and central trunk, with blind fret carved side panels and fluted pilasters to the base. Inlaid in the Sheraton style with linen swags and baskets of flowers. With gilt brass square dial adorned with spandrels, having silvered chapter ring and subsidiary seconds. Housing an eight day three train movement striking quarterly, Westminster and Whittington with eight bells, four chimes and a gong, 272cm. Condition Report. To be used as a guide only. In fine condition. Running but will require some set up.
