OAK EIGHT DAY LONGCASE CLOCK, the 12" arched brass dial signed William Upjohn, Exon to the arch, with silvered chapter ring, subsidiary seconds dial and calendar aperture to the matted centre, the case with wavy arched long door flanked by quarter fluted columns, surmounted by a caddy top and three gilded ball finials, 95" high. Illustrated on inside back cover.
Victorian shovel shape caddy spoon with mother of pearl handle, length measures 4 1/4ins (10.5cm), hallmarked Hilliard & Thomason Birmingham 1886. Together with a further Georgian Albert pattern example, length measures 5 1/2ins (13.5cm), hallmarked London 1822, sponsors mark reads W.B, and a food pusher hallmarked Chester 1921. All three items are in pretty good condition, with some surface scratches and areas of discolouration. The Victorian caddy spoon has a dent in the bowl from where the handle is attached, and the edge is a bit bent and uneven. The handle is a bit rubbed and worn. The other caddy spoon is bent on the edge of the bowl as well. The pusher has a bend in the handle. All three hallmarks are clearly legible.
George Unite-Victorian caddy spoon with shell and foliate scroll decoration to the handle. Length measures approximately 3 1/2ins (8.5cm), weight 0.312ozt (9.65gms). Hallmarked George Unite Birmingham 1839. The caddy spoon is overall in nice condition, there are general scratches to the silver, the bowl shows some wear-a few deeper scratches and marks and some very small nicks to the edge. There are a few spots of tarnishing. The hallmarks are clear distinct and legible, only the sponsors mark is partly rubbed.
Georgian silver caddy spoon the handle with shell decoration to the finial, dated Birmingham 1827, makers mark worn. Overall general surface scratches and marks the caddy has worn thin in particular to the bowl where there is also some small dints and the bowl has become slightly misshapen. The hallmarks are clear, the duty mark has worn slightly and the sponsors mark possibly reads ? T.

A 19th Century French eight day boulle work mantle clock, circular 9.5" foliate decorated cast brass dial with enamelled Roman numerals within glazed case applied with cast pierced gilt metal mounts with central panel of phoenix rising from flames above mask head and scroll detail all raised on four squat ball feet, conforming ball finials and later replacement caddy top, back plate signed De Lorme, Paris. Height 26", S/D.
