19TH CENTURY ROSEWOOD SARCOPHAGUS SHAPED TEA CADDY the hinged cover revealing two lidded zinc lined compartments flanking a cut crystal glass mixing bowl, mother of pearl escutcheon to the front panel, two loop handles on bun feet, overall 31.5cm wide approx. (B.P. 21% + VAT) Overall appearing in good condition commensurate with age and use. Minor wear in places but no obvious damage or repair.
AN EARLY 19TH CENTURY ROSEWOOD TEA CADDY, of sarcophagus form having hinged lid, the interior revealing two lidded canisters and central compartment for glass mixing bowl (missing). Standing on four turned feet. 34 x 18.5 x 23cm approx.(B.P. 21% + VAT) Overall in good condition for age. Some minor wear and marks in places. The glass mixing bowl is missing. Possible replacement to the veneer on the front left hand corner.

Lester Piggott and Rodrigo de Triano won the prestigious Juddmonte International by a length on 18th August 1992, beating 12 rivals including that year's Derby winner Dr DeviousProvenance: from the Lester Piggott Collection.

George III burr yew tea caddy, of sarcophagus form with lion mask ring handles and four brass ball feet, the hinged lid opening to reveal two compartments with cross-banded lids and traces of metallic paper lining, L19cm - Condition Report Lid lacks cross-banding to one side of raised central panel. Minor loss of boxwood edging to lid. One turned bone knob missing to inner lids.
