A 1920's Art Deco French walnut cabinet by Dominique of Paris, the caddy top with silver plated banding above two parquetry inlaid doors with angular brass handles opened to reveal a pigeon holed interior, raised on stepped bracket feet, 120.5 cm wide x 145 cm high (Provenance: commissioned and installed in Bibury Court, Gloucestershire circa 1926) CONDITION REPORTS A stain to the centre of the top surface, bubbling veneer and small loss of veneer in it as well. There is a possible repair to the top surface as well as ring marks, white paint splattered marks and scratches. There are some larger chips to the back edge - see images. To the left hand door at the top there is a small loss - see images, and there are also some minor scratches to the door, including one longer horizontal scratch, roughly half way down. There is some ink all over, some impressed marks, some light scratches and some very small chips to the edges. When looking at the back there is a small gap where the top surface is coming away from the body, so will need a little attention. some general signs of wear and tear throughout

An early 19th Century two division Tea Caddy on squat bun feet (possibly mulberry?), 31cm, together with a smaller late 18th Century oval mahogany Caddy for restoration decorated with satinwood ovals (2) CONDITION REPORT: The oval Tea Caddy has splitting and replaced wood over the hinge area towards the back, prevalent splitting to the front and discolouration to the back, needs full restoration. The larger Tea Caddy appears to be in generally good order with original condition etc., although the mixing bowl is now absent.
