The covers to the interior in fine condition. On the reverse two veneer chips. The hinges in good condition and the veneers around the hinges undamaged. Small losses to the veneer on one side of the base. The feet original.

A good Victorian mahogany quarter chiming bracket clock with eight day four pillar twin train movement striking on a coil, the ogee arched foliate engraved gilt dial with silvered Roman dial and Fast/Slow subsidiary dial to arch, pierced floral and foliate gilt metal grilles to sides, the case with caddy top with brass ball finials and carrying handle, raised on a gilt brass plinth with bracket feet, 14½in. (37cm.) high excluding handle, grilles and one finial loose. .

A LATE VICTORIAN SILVER CADDY SPOON, the pear shaped bowl engraved with a shield crest, date 1578 and scrolled banner, the figural surmount formed as a knight, marks for Birmingham 1891, maker Carrington & Co 11.5cm(L) 62grams; sold together with a 19th century silver caddy spoon of ladle form with geometric engraving to the bowl, rubbed marks for Birmingham 1810, maker indistinct. 8.5cm(L) 8grams Condition Report: The larger spoon with wear to gilt finish, minor marks and scratches, the other with wear to marks, knocks, dents and repair to stem.
