An Important Louis XIV Red Tortoiseshell & Ebonised Religieuse Clock by Baltazar Martinot, Paris, Circa 1680. The twin fusee movement having a silk suspension. The brass chapter ring with numbered minutes, defined upon a black velvet ground with pierced & engraved hands above a gilt appliqué embossed with trumpeting caryatids and an engraved oval cartouche. The red tortoiseshell case having a caddy top surmounted with flaming gilt torches above the glazed sides and front. Raised on bun feet 19½ ins (50 cms) in height, 12 ins (31 cms) in width, 5 ins (20.5 cms) in depth.
An 18th Century Walnut Parquetry Tea Caddy, of fine colour & patination, having rococo style floral brass handles & escutcheon. The top inlaid with a rectangular band of checkered inlay and outer band of diamonds with moulded edges and similarly inlaid front & sides. Raised on ogee feet 6½ ins (17 cms) in height, 11¼ ins (28.5 cms) in width, 6½ ins (16.5 cms).
A Fine 19th Century Regency Mahogany & Burr Maple Tea Caddy of rectangular form. The cavetto sided lid opening to reveal a triple lidded interior with ivory knop handles, lined in foliate-patterned velvet. The front & sides veneered with square burr maple panels within cross-banded and ebony strung borders. Standing on compressed bun feet. 6 ins (15 cms) in height, 9 ins x 4½ ins (23 cms x 11.5 cms).
A Fine Bracket Clock & Bracket veneered in red tortoiseshell with ebony mouldings and gilt bronze mounts. The matted gilt chapter ring mounted upon a black velvet ground with gilt lined winding holes, finely pierced & engraved pointers and an ornamental mount below cast with an urn cascading foliage and cornucopia of fruit. The breakfront pilasters inlaid with silver embellishments and stringing below Corinthian style capitals. The caddy top surmounted by flaming urn finials above a pierced frieze of gilt spindles, 23¾ ins (60 cms) high 13¼ ins (34 cms) wide. The bracket supports of four broken scroll arms adorned with wrythen rosettes, pendant garlands, stiff leaves & crowned female face masks, and fanning out from a Satyr`s head, 13¼ ins (34 cms) high, 16 ins (41 cms) wide.
A George III silver tea caddy London 1770, maker Thomas Heming, of bombe form with Chinoiserie figures and decoration, the detachable lid with cast figures of a songbird and Chinese man holding a single tea bowl, two sides of the caddy engraved with a crest of arm in armour embowled, for CHAMBERS of Leyhen Grange, Sydenham, Kent, set on four cast scroll feet, weight 10oz 4.75in (12cm) high.

A large Regency inlaid rosewood tea caddy early 19th century, of sarcophagus form, with boxwood inlaid edging, ivory lozenge escutcheon and wooden ring handles to the sides, the twin compartment interior with rosewood lids with turned ivory handles and a later porcelain sugar bowl, on bun feet, 13.75in (35cm) wide.
A Regency mahogany bowfronted cistern tube stick barometer, Dollond, London, early 19th century, with cavetto moulded caddy upstand above brass edged glazed rectangular silvered vernier register annotated and calibrated in inches and signed DOLLOND, LONDON to upper margin, the trunk with vernier adjustment squares and hygrometer above brass edged bowfronted mercury Fahrenheit and Reaumur scale thermometer flanked by ebony line inset edges above ebonised urn-shaped cistern cover to the shaped rectangular base with ebony line lozenge inlaid canted angles and cavetto moulded underside, 101cm high. Peter Dollond is recorded by Banfield as born 1730 and died 1820. He was the son of John Dollond, a Huguenot silk weaver, and started business as an optician at the age of twenty in 1750. He was joined by his father in 1752 until the latter`s death in 1761 and then by his brother, John, until his death in 1804. The family business was continued by Peter Dollond`s nephew, George Huggins, who subsequently changed his surname to Dollond. A George I walnut eight-day longcase clock, William Graham, London, early 18th century, the five finned-pillar rack and bell striking movement with 12 inch brass break-arch dial with star-engraved subsidiary seconds dial, calendar aperture and ringed winding holes to the matted centre within an applied silvered Roman numeral chapter ring with Arabic five minutes and lozenge half-hour markers, the angles with Indian mask and scroll pattern spandrels beneath arch centred with a silvered signature boss W"m Graham, London within engraved lappett borders and flanked by unusual cornucopia cast spandrels, the case with later cast brass foliate urn finials to the domed caddy raised on blind fret fronted upstand above moulded cornice, further fret infill and integral columns to hood, the trunk with rectangular door and sides divided into panels, on book-matched veneer fronted plinth base with double skirt, 241cm (7ft 11in) high excluding finials, 253cm (8ft 3.5in) high overall. William Graham is recorded in Baillie G.H. Watchmakers & Clockmakers of the World as working in London circa 1728.
