IN THE MANNER OF SIR THOMAS LAWRENCE (1769-1830) "Lady in red dress, white collar and a hat with lace cuffs seated in an interior, a work table and tea caddy before her and an expansive landscape opening up in the window", three-quarter length portrait, oil on board, unsigned, 34 cm x 28.5 cm CONDITION REPORTS Numerous scratches and scuffs over the entire painting. A large scratch to the lower right hand side. Accretions, appears dirty in areas, areas of loss to the paint. Appears to be small areas of restoration evident undfer UV light. General wear and tear commensurate with age - see photos for details
Two early 20th Century Chinese Ginbari cloisonné sectional tea caddies of circular form, raised on three feet protruding down as columns from the outer edge of the body, the silver ground decorated with cockerel and garden to one panel, a bird in flight above foliage to another and bird in seas in the third, the base decorated with a floral spray, the lid opening to reveal upper lined section which in turn removes to reveal a deeper lined section to the body, 16 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Both finials off on both pots. One is now missing. The chicken decorated caddy has damage around where the finial would have been. Various dents and dings throughout. Various scratches, scuffs and marks and various damages to the Ginbari ware. Various cracks appearing throughout and some losses . Large cracks to the chicken panel. Second tea caddy - again the finial off and missing. Lots of cracks and splits and numerous missing sections. Scratches, scuffs and marks throughout. Various dents. Both items have various considerable signs of wear and tear throughout and in need of attention and restoration. The base is falling on one of the top sections of the tea caddies.
A 19th Century Chinese tea caddy of cross sectional square form, the corners pinched inwards, the hardwood lid above the blue ground decorated body of a Chinese landscape, decorated with various buildings and figures, above a repeating patterned flower motif cloisonné base, 12.5 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Lid has wear, crazing, some losses to the edges etc as well as having had a screwed plate to the underneath. The cloisonne itself has pinhead firing faults and scratches throughout. The interior has some discolouration/cleaning fluid and may have been re-soldered at some point. The copper mounts have knocks and bumps etc. Has general wear and tear conducive with age and use - see images for more details
A George III painted fruitwood pumpkin shaped tea caddy, 14 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Has had woodworm treated and repaired, some surface scratches, knocks and bumps. An area of "mottling" to the area above the hinge. The stalk has bene broken. No key. The foiled interior has been worn and there is a small split to the inside next to the lock mechanism. Some woodworm holes still evident to the interior. There are a couple of splits to the wood, most evident on the interior. Wear to the paintwork throughout. Has come from a private local vendor. Damage to the stalk at the top presumably looped round. Has evidence of some old repairs. Some filled woodworm holes. To the exterior, some woodworm holes to the back to the interior. Appears to be a crack to the body around the hinge. There is no key. There is a slight wobble to the lidded top when closed onto the body. Wear to the paintwork throughout. Various scratches, scuffs and marks. Some dented type marks. General signs of wear and tear throughout. Presumably at some point was foil lined

The 12” arched brass dial with silvered Roman chapter ring and Arabic minute track, matted centre with calendar aperture, silvered cartouche to the arch and pierced spandrels fronting an eight-day weight driven movement striking the hours on a bell 230cm high.
