A Fine Quality Walnut Chiming Bracket Clock by Elliott of London, numbered 196/250 and made for the crown jewelers Garrard Regent Street London to commemorate the anniversary of the London clock maker Daniel Quare. The three train fusee movement playing three tunes with month duration, and fitted with an automatic mute from 10pm until 6am. The caddy top surmounted by pierced brass handle incorporating the initial DQ. The 7 inch (18 cms) brass dial with a Westminster/Whittington/Winchester chime dial in the arch, small fast/slow and chime/silent subsidiary dials above the chapter ring with a matted centre and decorative spandrels. 17 ins (43 cms) in height (handle up).
A Rare 18th Century Mahogany Bracket Clock by Thomas Bullock of Bath. The 7½ ins (19 cms) break arch silvered dial inscribed Thos. Bullock Bath in the arch above an engraved chapter ring and sprays of flowers to the corners. The case with a caddy moulded top surmounted by a brass carrying handle, 20½ ins (52 cms) high (handle up).
A collection of silver wares to include a Victorian teether with scallop shell rattle, an Arts and Crafts style caddy spoon with foliate and berry decoration, a small silver photograph frame, etc CONDITION REPORTS All items have surface scratches, knocks, bumps, etc, conducive with age and use. The shell rattle has two large holes in it.
