Replaced putty and hinges to front door, 8cm split around the door catch. Veneer repairs around both rear door hinges, rear door 'tight' when closing. Replaced putty to rear door. Similarly, the side panels with replaced putty. General marks, wear and fading commensurate with age and use.

A GEORGE III 'FIDDLEBACK' MAHOGANY BACHELOR'S CHEST OF DRAWERS CIRCA 1770 With caddy moulded top78cm high, 79cm wide, 47cm deep Condition Report: There are scratches, marks, knocks, cracks and abrasions consistent with age and use.There are losses, observations and restorations including: the top with a crack and other markings; the slide and the drawer fronts with a slight bow to the ends so that under close inspection they are not quite flush with the carcass front; there is some evidence of worm; repairs including to the back left leg; the handles and locks are later, in some places the filled holes of previous handles are visible; some later sectional beadings to the interior sides of some of the oak lined drawers.Please see the additional photographs as a visual reference of condition. A rare suite of 18th century Worcester porcelain, possibly painted by James Giles, including a cream jug, tea caddy, sucrier, coffee can and teacup, decorated with a floral pattern in purple and blue enamels and gilt.This collection was featured on Antiques Roadshow with the specialist David Batty who proposed an attribution to James Giles during a visit to Colchester recorded in 1993, shown 1994The sucrier cover has a staple repair to the finial, and some nibbles to the rim of the finial. The lid of the caddy has a tiny loss an applied leaf. There is some minor git wear commensurate with age and use. Otherwise in good condition.
George V silver Arts and Crafts tea caddy of tall oval form, with decorative floral borders and hinged cover with acorn finial (Birmingham 1916) A E Jones. All at approximately 4ozs. 11.5cm overall height.General overall condition is good, some minor dents and wear, surface has areas of scratching and tarnish and appears to have been superficially cleaned, cover hinge is slightly loose but cover is a tight fit, there are no signs of major damage or repair. Marks slightly rubbed but legible. Extra photographs to follow.
