A George II silver chinoiserie tea caddy, hallmarked London 1753, maker's mark of William Cripps Of square inverted pear form, one side decorated with a male figure holding a parasol before a pagoda, the front and back decorated with a male figure holding a floral frond before a pagoda, the sides each decorated with engraved rococo cartouches. 13 cm high. CONDITION REPORTS: Generally in good condition, some general surface wear/rubbing, general wear, approximately 9 troy ounces.
