AN EARLY VICTORIAN MAHOGANY SINGLE DOOR DISPLAY CABINET, the caddy top above glazed sides and door with plain columns flanking astragal glazing and with foliate moulded arching to the top, the interior fitted with three stained pine shelves, on a shaped plinth base, height 167.5cm x width 97cm x depth 49.5cm, with key (condition: cabinet has been later fitted with lighting and has a strip light to the underside of each shelf, the key and lock work, the bottom left hand side of the cabinet has been housed against a damp wall and has patches of white bloom, veneer missing from a few places) Door does appear to be warped but we don’t have a key to see whether it stays inline when it is locked as it sits forward at the top and majority of way down

AN EARLY 19TH CENTURY AMBOYNA TEA CADDY, of sarcophagus form, the hinged lid covering the two compartments with turned bone finials, stamped gilt metal lion mask ring handles to the side and on four gilt spherical feet, width 20cm x height 15.5cm x depth 12.5cm, together with a mahogany sarcophagus tea caddy with adapted interior, lacks one ball foot, width 29.5cm x height 17cm x depth 15.5cm (2) (condition: amboyna tea caddy has small veneer repair to top rectangle, lid not closing flush, splits to both sides and gilding is worn, the mahogany caddy has three new lids to the interior and repapered inside the lids, lacks one foot, some stringing and veneer losses)

AN EARLY VICTORIAN ROSEWOOD WRITING SLOPE, mother of pearl inset to the hinged cover, traditional fitted interior in need of restoration, width 27cm x depth 23cm x height 10.5cm, together with a Regency walnut tea caddy of sarcophagus form, the exterior later painted with musical devices, ribbons and baskets of flowers, the interior removed and relined with green fabric, on four gilt metal fruiting vine and lion paw feet, width 28cm x depth 14.5cm x height 17.5cm and a mid 19th Century shaped rectangular Anglo Indian coromandel work box in need of restoration, broken to lid, lacks internal fittings, width 40.5cm x depth 28cm x height 15cm (3) (condition: rosewood writing slope has loose parts, to the interior and broken catches, the tea caddy has been later painted, has no internal fittings, one foot is not level with the others so it rocks on a flat surface, the coromandel work box has broken hinges, surface wear to the box lid and inlay losses to the interior of the lid, no internal fittings, the exterior sides have section missing to one lower edge and splits to the other)
