Marti, MEDAILLE DE BRONZE roundel beneath serial number 427 to upper left margin and further numbers 4, 8 to lower edge, the circular cream enamel Arabic numeral dial with pierced gilt rosette centre, vertical numerals and steel hands set behind a hinged bevel-glazed cast bezel, the case with eagle surmount to the domed caddy superstructure cast with rosettes within foliate borders to each side, over anthemion and scroll pierced crests and leafy spandrel infill around the dial, the sides centred with female mask sunbursts, on waisted leaf-cast moulded plinth base applied with lyre mount to front over lions paw feet, 42cm high, together with a pair of brass urn side pieces, each of square-section shouldered form cast with starburst panels over mask of Hermes within pierced leafy scrollwork infill to each side, each 29cm high (3)

An early 19th century inlaid and mahogany tea caddy, with converted interior, height 12cm, together with a smaller tea caddy and further box (3).Provenance: from the estate of Stanley Dobbin.Additional InformationThe rectangular inlaid example is possibly missing its feet, replacement interior, losses to the veneer, damage to the escutcheon. None of the examples are complete with keys. The smaller example with applied card to the underside of the cover, replacement interior, the cover is slightly loose, the hinges do not match, wear to the feet, large split/losses to the back panel. The rosewood example is stained with losses and water damage.
