A GEORGE III SILVER-FITTED SATINWOOD TEA CADDY WITH THREE OVAL SILVER LIDDED CUT GLASS CANISTERS the front and lid inlaid in harewood and heightened in penwork with husks, crested, 27.5cm w, by Susanna Barker, London 1785 ++The mounts detached from two of the canisters, all three glass canisters in good condition, one with the odd tiny graze on the facets, the fitted interior retaining the original emerald green velvet lining. The caddy entirely unrestored with some damage to the front by the lock and on the lid, lacking one of the two oval plates on which the handle can rest when down. The hinges original and undamaged. A very high quality tea caddy requiring some sympathetic or cosmetic restoration
