A Victorian cased set of silver tea spoons, caddy spoon and tongs London 1874, maker William Edwards, comprising six tea spoons, a caddy spoon and a pair of sugar tongs, with cast classical maiden terminals, in the original maroon morocco case, weight 4.4oz, together with a cased set of silver handled fruit knives. A 19th century walnut decanter box the gilt brass bound box with a mahogany caddy top with engraved brass plaque `CORDIALS`, the hinged lid opening to reveal the original red velvet interior, fitted with six blown glass bottles with stoppers and a single drinking glass without a base, stored in a slot between the bottles, 9.25 x 6.5in (23.5 x 16.5cm) x 8in (20cm) high, lacks one glass.
A fine Tunbridge ware tea caddy, the lid slightly domed with a central scene of a reindeer in a landscape, flanked by elliptical floral groups. Inside the lid shows Eridge Castle, the interior with a sugar bowl, cracked and a pair of caddies, the lid of each with a floral group, two of the cane work bun feet are missing. (See Illustration)
