An early 18thC walnut longcase clock, of eight-day movement chiming on two bells, the brass dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, seconds dial and vertical calendar aperture, matted centre, signed 'Wm. Smith London' on a tablet, with steel and foliate cast spandrels, re-painted moon dial to the arch, the hood with high domed caddy top over swept and moulded twin arch moulding, later finials and with blind fret friezes, ½ round pilaster flanking the dial, the trunk door with double ogee door and glass lentile, canted sides, on stile feet, 103" high overall.
A French 19th century rosewood tea caddy, of rectangular form inlaid with bone and brass foliate scrolls, the hinged lid inscribed 'The' and enclosing an interior fitted with two porcelain caddies and stoppers and a matching mixing bowl and cover, each painted with Chinese and Indian figures and further painted in gilt and colours with birds and foliage 26cm wide
