A SET OF SIX SILVER TEASPOONS AND A CADDY SPOON, six old English pattern teaspoons, each hallmarked 'John Round & Son Ltd' Sheffield, together with an early 20th century shell shape caddy spoon, hallmarked 'E E T' Sheffield 1907, approximate gross weight 5.0 ozt, 155.4 grams (condition report: general light wear, would benefit from a gentle clean and polish)
A Regency tortoiseshell tea caddy, with fluted paterae bowfront, 17cm high, 18cm wide, 10cm deepTop-right corner of frontage dented, chipped and repaired affecting both the caddy and the cover; base split front to back, visible at interior and underside; interior lead lining very worn; oval white metal lockplate stands proud of the tortoiseshell and may not be original. Finial, nameplate and ball toes are a white metal.
The footed caddy tray with basket handle has silverplate maker hallmarks on the bottom and measures 8.5"L x 6"W x 6"H. The egg cups measure 1.75"dia. x 2.75"H. The set has a beautiful patina.
