The sides decorated with willow trees.Keywords: chanoyu, tea ceremony.Height: 3 in x diameter: 2 3/4 in.Condition: There are two hairline cracks along two sides of the lid. Several very light hairline cracks extending downwards from the upper rim along the interior of the box. One minute chip to the footrim. Light wear throughout. Some accretions and dust/debris gathered along the interior.

A collection of Herend Rothschild birds pattern porcelain, including a hexagonal tea caddy and cover, 27cm high, a cache pot, vases etc. Provenance: Dunkirk Manor The candlestick with a broken and glued nozzle. The oval vase with a chip to the rim with associated crack.The larger bottle vase with a chip and crack to rim. The bird finial on the shell dish has a chip to tail. any item not mentioned is in good condition.
A George II walnut kneehole desk the chevron inlaid and crossbanded caddy moulded top above one from frieze drawer and three short drawers to each pedestal enclosing a kneehole cupboard with an apron drawer above, on bracket feet. 79.5cm wide, 47.5cm deep, 79cm highsunfaded, scuffs, scratches and wear commensurate with age and use, top with several old veneer restorations, sides possible re-veneered with left side facing with panel crack, handles replaced with central filled areas for alternative earlier drop handle fittings, minor veneer lifting and veneer restoration throughout, back right leg cracked and partially detached with some veneer loss to side, legs reveneered in part, oak drawer lining.
A good quality 19th century burr-walnut veneered travelling writing slope/box with applied brass borders and cartouche opening to reveal a compartmental fitted interior veneered in coromandel wood with a tooled blue leather together with a strung inlaid and walnut veneered caddy of square form and tow further 19th century writing boxes.(4)`
