Condition Report:Teapot - stag antlers are bent backwards, rim of lid has an upwards dent on 1 corner, body has numerous extremely light dents. A mid-19th century mahogany tea caddy with boxwood stringing. Working lock and key (key is a replacement). The caddy is boxwood lined and there are two lift out compartments with hinged mahogany covers, 19.2cm long, 11.5cm wide, 12.4cm high. (LDNB42)Condition: Very good. There are four fine cracks on the cover two of which traverse it entirely. However they do not detract from the overall appearance. The velvet lining on the underside of the cover has deteriorated and there is no felt on the underside of the base. A mid 19th century partridge wood double compartment tea caddy with boxwood stringing. Shield shaped bone escutcheon, 30.5cm long, 14.7cm wide, 15cm high. (LNDB41)Condition: There is a 2cm stain on the cover and two small patches of fading. There are minor indentations to the stringing as expected. The central well for the mixing bowl is velvet lined with a baize base. The mixing bowl is absent, there is a working lock and key. Loss of patina on the handle. Hinges in good working order.
