A 19th century walnut fitted tea caddy, the whole polychrome decorated with instruments, sheet music, flowers and foliage, the interior having twin fitted caddies flanking centre mixing bowl cavity (only), all raised on gilt metal paw feet, w.31cmCondition report: Stands well.Replace veneer section near foot.Hinges good.Colours good.Minor age wear and surface scratches only.Some crazing to paint on lid.Interior very good but lacking mixing bowl.

A George II silver bombe tea caddy, John Holland II, London, 1751, of bombe form, embossed in the rococo style with two panels of the ruins of Rome and two with floral & foliate scrollwork centred by shaped vacant cartouches, the cover applied with cast cherub and bird, raised on foliate capped scroll feet, 4 7/8in. (12.5cm.) high, weight 8.0 tr.oz.* Condition: Hallmarks good to base. Secondary marks to lip of cover slightly rubbed but clearly legible. Three small dings and one small dent to lower edge of lip to cover. The cartouches are vacant and do not appear to have been erased. The centre of the underside is pushed upwards ever so slightly. Repoussé decoration good overall with just light wear. Stands square and does not rock on the feet. No repairs visible. Overall in good condition.
A Victorian papier-mache tea caddy, c.1860, of rectangular form with serpentine front, inlaid with mother of pearl, having floral and foliate decoration highlighted in gilt, the hinged cover opening to reveal a lidded twin compartment, 6½in. (16.5cm.) wide. * The inner lid with repair to underside and missing finial, no key, some surface cracking to decoration, chip to front right of lid and back right of box.

Attractive Georgian octagonal burr yew inlaid tea caddy, the cover and sides with inlaid foliate panels, the underside of the cover with an inset mirror, 7.5" wide, 4" deep, 5" high V shaped section of veneer missing to the back of the box as shown in the image, the interior has a mirror and fabric lining so adapted from a tea caddy possibly. Small veneer repair to the left angled panel bottom left, other light surface marks - see images
