A George III inlaid mahogany bulb-cistern tube stick barometer, F. Donegan, Stafford, circa 1810. The rectangular silvered vernier scale calibrated in inches and applied with a mercury Fahrenheit scale thermometer, the upper edge signed F. Donegan, Stafford, the case with hinged glazed cover and broken pediment above a parquetery banded caddy-moulded trunk with exposed tube and a domed circular cistern cover to base, 97cm high. F.
