The brass face with silvered chapter ring encircling a matted centre incorporating an arched aparture for sun-burst engraved mock pendulum, a silvered calendar aperture, an oval polished cartouche inscribed Wm Wolfall London and finely cut blued steel hands. The corners adorned with unusual scrolling foliate spandrels issuing seeding fruit and flower-heads. The eight day 5 pillar movement with original verge escapement, quarter repeating mechanism striking six bells, brass bob pendulum and a finely engraved back plate signed with makers name.
