A FINE QUALITY 19TH CENTURY SIGNED CHINESE SILVER TEA SERVICE, weighing 1.36Kg, comprising a teapot and cover, a sugar basin, a milk jug, a pair of sugar tongs and unusually a tea caddy and cover, mainly decorated with barbed quatrefoil panels of battling warriors, the teapot with a bamboo-form overhead swing handle, the cover of the caddy with a Fu good luck character, each piece except covers with impressed maker's character marks, the teapot 7.8in long including spout & 6.5in high to top of finial. (7 pieces including covers).
A GOOD QUALITY 19TH CENTURY CHINESE LACQUERED WOOD RECTANGULAR TEA CADDY, with a fitted interior pewter container the hinged cover of which is fitted with an ivory knop, the hinged cover of the caddy well decorated with a scroll-form figural panel, the sides with similar oval panels, the whole supported on four ivory claw feet, 11.2in x 8.2in at widest points, & 5.7in high.
Two pearlware tea caddies and a vase painted in underglaze blue, the vase with a brown slip overlay and moulded with classical swags, late 18th century (3) 11cm high Condition report: Both tea caddies have restorations to the neck areas and bases, one caddy has staining to the base. The vase is free from damage or restoration.

Condition report: Edge moulding and stringing all intact and original; slight blemish on the lid; the key doesn't turn the lock; foil linings in poor condition. An early 18th century West Country silver tea caddy, maker's mark RW struck three times, possibly for Roland West, Salisbury circa 1710, rectangular form, canted corners, pull-off cover and base, engraved with a crest, the underside of the base scratch initialled 'B' over 'I*B', height 12.2cm, approx. weight 6.8oz. The crest is that of Bruges, of Wiltshire.
A George II silver tea caddy, by Elizabeth Godfrey, London 1742, upright rectangular form, chased scroll decoration, engraved with a crowned monogram, slide-off base, the slide-off cover with a hinged shell finial, height 14.8cm, approx. weight 13.5oz. The cypher AW or WA ensigned by the coronet of a countess - possibly for Anne, Countess of Winchilsea (1685-1743).
