A Victorian walnut double pier cabinet, with crossbanded caddy top metal mounts and plinth base. Height 123 cm, width 127 cm, depth 35 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The cabinet is in extremely good condition with no significant issues. It is a very good uniform colour and has only very minor blemishes to the polished surface. All metalwork is present. It is also in good order. The doors are not warped and meet correctly in the middle. We have the lock and key which is operable. All shelves are in good condition the plinth base is in good order all round, the backboards are original. The cloth lining is also in very good order. We can see no evidence of any woodworm.
A Victorian embossed silver tea caddy, 1895 Thomas Hayes. Weight 168 grams, height 9 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The caddy is in generally good condition with no significant issues. There are no holes. The top snaps shut as it should and the hinge is in good order. There are some minor dents to the lid. The main body of the caddy is in good condition and the hallmarks are clear and not rubbed. The base has some minor dents but no significant issues.
Sri Lankan two handled brass bowl (40cm diameter); Chinese Swatow pewter tea caddy (H 16cm); 2 x Malaysian six sided baskets one containing 2 Sahai woman's seed necklaces (from Mrs Sanders, sister to Leonard Wray and great grand mother to the seller); and 3 x Malay small woven baskets for bringing a small present of new rice (also Mrs Sanders). Part of the Leonard Wray collection.
Two silver caddy spoons and four coffee spoons, all London, Caddy spoons 1991, Coffee spoons three 1991 and one 1982, Markers mark for Richard Lawrence Geere. approx. 91 grams Provenance : Geere Family Note : Richard Geere born in 1932, and following in the footsteps of his father Charles Edward Geere who was also a Goldsmith and Silversmith, Richard Lawrence Geere was apprenticed to Ramsden and Roed and attended day release classes at the Central School of Arts and Crafts.After working for Asprey and Stuart Devlin he set up his own workshop where he undertook various private commissions and made his own range of silverware much in the style of Stuart Devlin for whom he was a maker. He continued to supply Asprey with bespoke items and photo frames from his own workshop.
Collection of Meissen porcelain to include: 'Blue Onion' design tea caddy and cover, cups and saucers, cream jug, sucrier and cover, pierced design plates etc., some decorated with flowers and foliage. Blue Cross Sword marks to the underside. (11) (B.P. 21% + VAT) The plates have adhesive plate hangers to the underside, otherwise items appearing in good condition overall with no obvious damage.

Softley, London 2005, 7.4cms long – 1oz. Note: Made to celebrate the life of Captain John. D. Norie who was the founder of The Society of Caddy Spoon Collectors on 12th September 1963 and who died 12th September 2002. Captain Norie was a Trinity House navigation pilot during his working life.
