A Regency blond tortoiseshell and mother of pearl tea caddy, of sarcophagus form, with floral inlaid decoration and ivory banded inner lids and ball feet, 20cm wide, 12cm deep, 15.5cm high. Condition - fair to good (repaired hinge area) Blue enamels, largely to top, faded; lock and interior lining original; hinges have been re-attached, each hinge with a pin at interior, the repairs more visible at exterior, see image. No key. Interior cover handles are mother of pearl, not ivory. Two ivory feet strengthened with glue.
