Two Chinese cloth covered scrap albums containing late Qing Dynasty pith paintings, one holding 12 portraits of court officials and women in traditional costume culminating in the throned Emperor and Empress holding jade ruyi sceptres, the other with eleven depictions of female musicians playing various instruments to include yanluo and erhu, each picture approx 27 x 19cm Provenance: Rushbrooke Estate, Bury St Edmunds Condition Report / Extra Information Most pages complete. Colours generally very good and vibrant. Some with discolouration , foxing and spotting. Some with minor tears and losses, coming loose. Boards good, some with wear to edges.
An early 19th century Dutch mahogany and floral marquetry triple leaf tea and card table, the top marquetry inlaid with an urn issuing scroll flowers and foliage flanked by two birds and within a border, the first tier opening to reveal two mirrored sections, each with central marquetry urn and flowers within borders, the second tier opening to reveal baize lined playing surface within a marquetry border, the frieze with further marquetry inlays, the whole raised on square tapering supports with spade terminals, w.120cm, d.60cm, h.74cm Condition Report / Extra Information Stands well. Top doesn't 'smile', no warping. Veneer losses to areas of top. Inner top generally very good with a small number of minor losses only. Baize top is fair. Marquetry border good. Frieze and legs with minor losses only. Hinges good. Minor traces of old worm to one leg. Generally good and largely original condition.

An antique Chinese blue and white ginger jar and cover, painted in bold cobalt blue with Oriental figures playing games with children within a landscape, the cover similarly decorated, a band of stylised waves around the base of the neck, double concentric circles to base, 9¼in. (23.5cm.) high. * Condition: The lid has three restored cracks. The jar is in very good & clean condition with no chips or other damage noted.
A Japanese carved ivory netsuke, Meiji period (1868-1912), with three leverets playing amongst toadstools, on naturalistically carved base, the leverets with glass eyes, two character signature to stem of one of the toadstools, 2½ x 2in. (6.4 x 5.1cm.). * Condition: Scratch to top of two toadstools and another to one leveret's ear. No other damage. Good condition overall.
A near pair of 19th century Sevres porcelain chargers, one with incised interlaced Ls mark, the other incised 'G1N', with celeste blue borders decorated with trailing foliage and flowers, one with central pictorial of a caped gentleman serenading his female companion, the other depicting a gentleman and his female companion dancing while a seated figure playing a hurdy gurdy looks on, 16¾in. (42.5cm.) diameter, both restored. (2) * Provenance: Christies 19th Nov. 1998, lot 160. ** Condition: One (with two figure decoration) has been broken and repaired, with a section out and repaired to left side of the decorated well. Oversprayed paint visible verso. Both have some gilt wear throughout. The other (with the three figures) has been broken in two places to the rim with large pieces detached, which has been well restored.
