BAUHAUS - SANITY ASSASSIN - Legendary 1983 fan club only 7" release. Only 325 copies of the single were sent out as a present / compensation to the fan club members who had paid their subscription before the band split up. And from this very limited issue, 50 copies were inadvertently thrown away during an office clearout! Side 1 is in clean Ex condition with just a couple of very light hairlines to the playing surface. Side 2 is in superb Ex+ condition with very few markings. MATRIX: LYN 13777/13778. The original sleeve is in Ex+ condition - unlikely to come across better especially considering how 'black' it is(!). Housed with the original mailing envelope that would have been used to originally send the record out in. Does not contain the fanclub letter or postcard.
OFO THE BLACK COMPANY - ALLAH WAKBARR/BEAUTIFUL DADDY 7" - A huge Afro Funk monster straight from the streets of Lagos (though released in the UK on Decca F 13361). SPIROGYRA - ST. RADIGUNDS - UK TEST PRESSING (SIDE 1) - A single sided test pressing containing the first side of the magical debut LP from local favourites Spirogyra (never to be confused with the US 'Jazz-Fusion' band of the same name). Issued on white labels with hand written title, cat. number and track listing. LABI SIFFRE - This writer is overjoyed to finally cataloguing a collection of 5 x LPs featuring the far too often overlooked Labi Siffre. You could make everybody jealous at the party playing 'I Got The' off Remember My Song (EMC 3065 - very clean Ex record/neat VG+) which took Eminem from Marshall Mathers to The Slim Shady! I say overlooked because apart from this 'break' Siffre is a superb songwriter and poet, and the other 4 LPs showcase this: Crying Laughing Loving Lying (NSPL 28163 containing the beautiful 'Cannock Chase', with lyric insert), The Singer And The Song (NSPL 28147NSPL 28147), For The Children (NSPL 28182) and Happy (EMC 3098). Condition is generally VG+ to Ex. If you don't have these in your collection, now is the chance to rectify it!
ELVIS PRESLEY - SUN 223 - MYSTERY TRAIN - The final Elvis 45 on Sun, and here we have the original US cut! The record is in G+ condition. However, there are no heavier scratches and playback is unlikely to be hindered by skips or jumps. Matrix/runout: 45-U-156X 20 ?5498 & 45-U-157X 20 ?5499. The labels are in good order only light wear. Housed with a Sun Records sleeve.
SEX PISTOLS GOD SAVE THE QUEEN / NO FEELING ROUGH MIX RECORDING REEL 2 REEL TAPE - incredible piece of Sex Pistols history for the serious collector. The tape has been consigned by the sound engineer for Riverside Recordings who engineered the early Pistols demo sessions. The tape is housed inside a Riverside Recordings box with "Sex Pistols. 1. God Save The Queen" written on the box in black ink . The tape features two rough mixes that differ from the released versions of both God Save the Queen and No Feelings - God Save The Queen is notably slower and No Feelings differs significantly with over & under dubs. Letter of provenance to state "I was employed as a freelance recording engineer at Riverside Recordings. 78 Church Path, Chiswick, London, W4 UK to engineer a transfer of demo backing tracks onto 2" multitrack and do vocal overdubs with Dave Goodman and Malcolm McLaren producing in mid 1976 for the Sex Pistols demos. As I recall Dave Goodman recorded the backing tracks and after transferring them onto 2" multitrack we overdubbed Johnny Rotten's vocals on several tracks. I think this was the first time the band were in a proper recording studio, their reputation was so bad that Ruth Low the manager and later owner of Riverside Recordings made sure everything other than the bare essentials needed for the session was locked away. They were actually very professional throughout the session. This tape was a rough monitor mix of God Save The Queen ( No Future) and No Feelings taken at the end of the session. I was given permission by Dave and Malcolm to take a copy. They each took a copy, one was made for playing to a record company to secure a contract" Mp3 samples available on request and on viewing days.

Complete with the poster, though please note it looks like a previous owner has been playing darts(!) near it with little holes on and near the four members - the top part is clean, perhaps this was an angry ex?! The fully laminated embossed sleeve is in clean Ex condition with some minor wear to the edges.
