Arsenal team has Mortensen playing alongside Compton etc and opponents have players from Rangers Sheff Utd Wolves Partick Leeds Middlesbrough Birmingham Hull and Huddersfield. 2nd programme has British players attached to professional clubs v German opponents. Malcolm MacDonald 1972 English Football League Representative Match Worn Shirt: Opponents were the Scotland Football League played at Middlesbrough on 15/3/1972. Malcolm remembers partnering Geoff Hurst up front with Bobby Moore also playing in the 3-2 defeat. White long sleeve shirt with number 9 to rear. Some age staining.
A scarce original c1981 MB Games (Milton Bradley Games) ' Dark Tower ' electronic fantasy adventure game. Famously withdrawn from sale very shortly after its release due to a copyright lawsuit. Complete and checked by us (just missing 5x standard playing pegs), with instructions. The Dark Tower itself still with its polystyrene packaging. Vendor assures us game is in working order, but it remains unchecked by us. Rare.

PRESTON RES - EVERTON RES 1933 Preston North End Reserves home programme v Everton Res 29/4/1933, the game none of the Everton players wanted to play in as the Everton Club were playing in the FA Cup Final the same day against Manchester City at Wembley and they won the trophy. 16 page programme, opposition noted on cover, some creasing. Fair-generally good
SWINDON - ABERDARE 1927 Swindon Town home programme v Aberdare, 2/4/1927. This was the final season in the Football League for Aberdare who pre-season had merged with Aberaman, the first team playing in the Football League as Aberdare Athletic whilst the reserves played in the Welsh League as Aberdare and Aberaman AFC. At the end of the season Torquay Utd replaced Aberdare. Swindon won the game 3-2, slight fold. Good
MMC TOUR OF SOUTH AFRICA 1938 / AUTOGRAPHS Sixteen page booklet issued by Union-Castle Line who ran the Athlone Castle ship that took the MCC team to South Africa for their 1938/9 tour which sailed from Southampton on 21/10/1938. Includes pen pictures with portraits and the playing conditions, with a page for autographs which has been signed by Jack Hobbs and Wally Hammond. Good
A pair of 19th Century Chinese Canton porcelain Vases, the two gilded handles as Karashishi and cubs playing with brocade balls, the main bodies also with gilded Chilong style dragons/lizards and decorated in the famille rose palette with flowers, objects and figures etc., in typical style, each Vase rim with minor chipping, each approx. 43cm high CONDITION REPORT: Both Vases to rims chipped (see images), hairline crack adjacent to rim chip approx. 38cm, rubbing to gilt handles, enamels appear to be in good order, one with star crack to base, Vases sold as seen.
