RAF Photograph and Scrap Album WWII. Interesting covering RAF Sgt W.T.Christie whilst in South Africa c.1942/44. Seems to have spent a lot of time at the races and playing Football, with Permits & a Cup Final menu (1942 tipped-in the later with a number of autographs, etc. Also photographs of sporting events together with group photographs probably from training course. Still an interesting wartime item.

An impressive brass inlaid rosewood musical boardroom clock with triple fusee movement, late 19th century, the gilded brass arched dial with all over floral and foliate engraving, 7 3/8in. silvered chapter ring and silvered Chime/Silent and Cambridge Chimes/Chime on 8 Bells subsidiary dials to the arch, the substantial engine turned movement playing on a nest of eight bells, also chiming the hours on a large gong, within a breakfront case with fluted frieze and gilt brass Corinthian columns, the front inlaid in brass with stylised foliate decoration, spandrels and stars, gilt brass caryatid and foliate grilles to sides, surmounted by a moulded rounded arched cornice and five brass pineapple finials, 28¾in. (73cm) high, on a later shallow mahogany plinth. (2)
A fine pair of Chinese porcelain republic period vases, flared rims to waisted necks, over ovoid bodies with layered black wave, ruyi head and pendant borders to underside of rims, shoulders and bases, finely painted polychrome decoration of female figures in leisurely pursuits - painting, reading and playing board games - under the shade of gnarled trunk pine tree, significant character marks to bodies and seal marks to bases, 19in. (48.3cm.) high. (2)* Condition: In fine condition, with no damage or restoration to either vase.
A 19th century Continental burr and figured walnut card table, the rounded rectangular fold over top quarter veneered in burr walnut, swivelling to open, revealing an oval gilt tooled red leather playing surface, over a single fitted drawer, raised on shaped x-form end supports with a baluster turned stretcher, on brass casters, 22½ x 16in. (57 x 40.5cm.), 29½in. (75cm.) high.
