Serge Shart - Study of a Bucolic Man playing Pipes, mid-20th Century lithograph printed in colour, signed, dedicated, inscribed `Paris` and dated `20.III.72`, signed and further inscribed, together with another lithograph, Study of a Female Street Vendor holding a Basket of Fruit, both within blue canvas mounts and gilt frames.
Nine diminutive Derby porcelain figures of Turks, late 18th/early 19th Century, each standing on a gilt enriched scroll moulded base, comprising five women and four men, incised `No. 63` to bases (faults and restoration), together with a slightly bigger Derby figure of a girl playing a lute (restored).

Tennis interest, a Swedish silver trophy bowl from the International Tennis Tournament, Stockholm, May 1906, by C. Hallberg, tapering circular form, applied with a blue enamel shield and inscribed with winner`s name `F. H. Pearce. Dr Pearce had the distinction of playing and beating H.K.H The Crown Price of Sweden in the third round of the Gentleman`s Singles. He then went on to lose to G.S Setterwall in the fourth round.
William Gaunt (1900-1980) Princes Square Whitecha William Gaunt (1900-1980) Princes Square Whitechapel pen and black ink with blue and green ink wash signed and inscribed at lower right hinged into mount this erroneously captioned Queens Square Whitechapel 1932 21.5 x 25 cm (8 1/2 x 9 3/4 in) *** Princes Square now known as Swedenborg Gardens London E1 was the site of the Ulrika Eleanora Church attended by the philosopher and visionary Emanuel Swedenborg after he arrived in London from Stockholm in 1710. The church closed in 1910 and was demolished in 1921. This stark scene depicts figures playing football by a lone floodlight in the barren looking central garden.

South Africa – Sir John Jackson fine album of approx 130 photos compiled by the family of Sir John Jackson when he was working on the docks at Simon`s Town Cape Colony South Africa. The album contains good photographs of street scenes coastal views the harbour etc and a photo postcard of picket boats at Simon`s Town Regatta in 1904. Some of these are panoramas which is quite unusual for the time. There are also photographs showing members of the Jackson family fishing and sailing in Scotland in 1902 and playing hockey at Tynemouth in 1904 and some images of Hugh Jackson as an officer in India with pictures of his camp mess tent etc.
WWII – Game Tak Tik Wehr Schach 1940 produced by Verlag die Wehrmacht a German game based on the idea of `Military Chess` box intact in good condition with original cardboard transit case rules (in German) present apparently complete playing pieces and board. This is the rarer reduced sized version of this game produced for the troops on the front line to play in their spare time. It is also unusual because the playing pieces are made from Bakelite. At this time board games in Britain were still using wooden pieces.
WWII – Mosley and the Fascists edition of Jewry Uber Alles dated June 1920 with a particularly nasty attack on the Sassoon family and including the scarce promotional sticker `The Jews Harp – Britons Pay the Harper/Jewry calls the tune` showing a graphic of a fat man playing an allegorical harp.
