A Late Victorian Oak and Slate-Bed Snooker/Dining Table, late 19th century, with green felt baize playing surface and five removeable leaves to make a dining table, on turned and tapering legs joined by plain stretchers220cm by 126cm by 76cmThe legs with some slight movement. The table top with some variations in colour (see images). The table comes with three assorted rests, four cues (including extension sections). The leaves vary in colour and are slightly misshapen. The playing surface varies in colour but is in useable condition (see images). The supports for the two middle pockets are missing (see images). Some general scuffs to the legs and framework consistent with age.

The painting has several patches on the reverse with corresponding areas of repair and retouching across the surface. Under UV light there is evidence of cleaning and overpainting. The painting is ornately framed but not glazed. The original frame has some minor scuffs and knocks commensurate with age.

Three Crown Devon rectangular musical boxes, all printed with different scenes, 6ins x 4ins x 3ins, 5.25ins x 3.75ins x 2.5ins and 5ins x 3.25ins x 2.5ins - All the boxes play a different tune and they all stop playing when the lids are put on. None of the boxes have any chips, cracks or signs of restoration. The one with the hunting scene is very crazed all over though.
