The record playing surface is in Ex condition with only a couple of very minor, faint and light surface markings. Please note, the four pronged centre is missing. ARMSTRONG LOUIS: (1901-1971) American Jazz Trumpeter. Vintage signed and inscribed 10 x 8 photograph, the image depicting Satchmo, playing his trumpet whilst seated in between the Jazz musicians Earl Fatha Hines and Jack Teagarden, who plays his trombone. Fine Italian Neapolitan mandolin by and labelled Liuteria Classica Romana, Pasquale Pecoraro Allievo Embergher, Specialita per Concertisti, soloist model 5-bis, with fluted bowl back, trompe l'oeil scrolled Roman parchment scratch-plate and open peg box terminating in a geometric mother of pearl inlaid finial head, cased *this mandolin was owned and played by Paul Marquis who commissioned it directly from the maker Pasquale Pecacaro in the 1970's. He played it at performances of Romeo and Juliet, and also for HM The Queen at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden. He also played alongside Hugo D'Alton in the original London mandolin ensemble and appeared playing the mandolin in the television show 'A Fine Romance' in 1981 with Judy Dench.
Guitar by Juan Pagés, Cadiz 1791, with six double courses of string, the tapered head with rosewood face and shaped outline bearing twelve tuning pegs mounted with pearl eyes, the fingerboard with eleven brass frets plus another five on the table, the two-piece figured maple back with ebony binding to the edges and similar wood to the sides, the fine grain spruce table with ebonised and pearl inlaid decoration, the sound hole surround inlaid boxwood and ebony lines enclosing a continuous band of inlaid pearl circles, the rosewood tie bridge flanked by freted moustaches, in an ebonised wooden case Inscribed Juan Pagés Me Hizo En Cadiz, Ano De 1791 on a label to the inner back Overall length 38", 96.5cm; string length 24 3/8", 61.9cm *This guitar is in remarkable condition for its age., with a good playing action. The top and back have never been off.

Jimmy Page played and signed Dearmond by Guild M-75T electric guitar *On Monday 4th March 2002, Jimmy Page jammed with Epsom College pupils in a concert to raise money for street children in Brazil. This is one of the guitars that Jimmy played during the concert and later signed to be auctioned off to help with the proceeds. The vendor, who's son attended Epsom College, bid on the item and ended up being the lucky winner. The guitar is sold with a photograph of Jimmy Page playing a Gibson Les Paul at the event. It is widely know that Jimmy Page rarely signs guitars.
