Three Chinese Canton carved ivory page turners, 19th century, one with blade carved with auspicious objects against a diaper ground, the handle carved and pierced with Guanyin playing a flute with a pheasant on her shoulder, an attendant at her feet, 11¼in. (28.5cm.) long; the second with waisted handle carved with figures and pagodas amidst trees, 10 1/8in. (25.7cm.) long; the third with curved blade, the elliptical handle carved with a bird flying amidst bamboo, 8¾in. (22.cm.) long.
