33 x 1923 FA Cup Final Postcards Bolton v West Ham: Incredibly rare one off set of 33 black and white postcards depicting Bolton Players either in action during the cup final, meeting the king, playing golf in the morning, Captains tossing coin, receiving the cup or celebrating after the first ever cup final victory at Wembley. We have never seen these pictures before and they really help get a feel for the day of the Bolton players in one of the most famous football days in history. Postcards are all in good condition without any writing to rear but are not all the same size, most postcards measure approx. 5.5 x 4.5” with a few smaller. The rear of each postcard is unusual as they all state the word postcard for correspondence and address only but the printing is not central and occasionally it appears twice on the rear of the postcards. A couple of postcards show a very slight sign that they may have previously been stuck down with two tiny glue looking marks (hardly noticeable)

Cliff Jones First Ever Full Welsh International Football Cap: The red Wales cap is in good condition has the original tassels still intact and under the Welsh emblem is the season 1953/54 and on the peak is the capital letter A for Austria. As a teenager playing for Swansea he obtained this cap in a match v Austria. Also comes with Cliff Jones Butcher Ltd hand stamp also given to vendor who was a personal friend of Cliffs and is still remembered by the existing great double winning team.
