33 x 1923 FA Cup Final Postcards Bolton v West Ham: Incredibly rare one off set of 33 black and white postcards depicting Bolton Players either in action during the cup final, meeting the king, playing golf in the morning, Captains tossing coin, receiving the cup or celebrating after the first ever cup final victory at Wembley. We have never seen these pictures before and they really help get a feel for the day of the Bolton players in one of the most famous football days in history. Postcards are all in good condition without any writing to rear but are not all the same size, most postcards measure approx. 5.5 x 4.5” with a few smaller. The rear of each postcard is unusual as they all state the word postcard for correspondence and address only but the printing is not central and occasionally it appears twice on the rear of the postcards. A couple of postcards show a very slight sign that they may have previously been stuck down with two tiny glue looking marks (hardly noticeable)
