Indian Company School, 19th Century An Indian girl sitting on a chair; and An Indian girl sitting on a chair by a table with a mirror, both 29 x 21cm; and An Indian girl playing the sitar, 26 x 19cm (3) watercolour with gold in Rajasthani wooden and brass frames (3) 29 x 21cm (11 x 8in) Cracking and slight paint losses in the upper right-hand corner to both. One chip to the glass on the first one. Frames need slight adjustment as the corners are loose.
Two carved wooden Japanese Kobi toys; one with a man on top of a wooden box playing a drum, with a grotesque face mounted to the front of the box, when handle to side is turned the man's arm hits a drum and the face's tongue moves in and out, 18cm high; the other with a figure to the front and lid to top, when side handle is turned a head comes out of lid and the tongue, arms and legs of the figure move in and out, 8cm high (2). 19th century Boulle work card table of serpentine outline, the hinged top inlaid with figures, animals and rococo scrollwork, enclosing baize-lined playing surface and well below, the conforming inlaid frieze centred by ormolu mask mounts on cabriole legs, 83cm wide x 41cm deep x 77cm high CONDITION REPORT Has been previously restored, good overall condition- the top has had some restoration to the veneers, the interior is original and has a purple felt lining, the leather border of which is worn.
