DAVID BOWIE - RUBBER BAND C/W THE LONDON BOY'S (UK 7" DM 107). Superb to see original UK 7" demo copy of this eary Bowie 45 from 1966 (DM 107 white/turquoise label) presented in fine condition. The record is in glossy Ex condition. There are a couple of light and minor surface/hairline markings to the playing surfaces, none of which are of a heavier nature whatsoever. With clean labels (some light marks on the B side) with the 4 pronged centre fully intact. Matrix: CPDR-39319-T1-1C & 39320-T1-1C. Complete with an original 60s Deram company sleeve in VG+ condition.
DAVID BOWIE - LOVE YOU TILL TUESDAY - UK 7" DEMO (DM 135). A very clean example of this exceptionally hard to find 1967 UK Deram demo (DM 135 turquoise/silver labels). The playing surfaces are in sublime Ex+ condition showing very few markings that is simply unprecedented! Please note though that there is some repair to the A side label (a canny previous owner has placed a label over the paper tear 'connecting' the D and E of Deram), this only slightly detracts from this otherwise stunning copy.
QUEEN - EUROPEAN PRESSING 7". Mega collection of 29 x 7" taking a trip round Europe. Countries of origin/titles include Italy - Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Somebody To Love (x2) and Spread Your Wings, Yugoslavia - First EP, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Mustapha (scarce mispressing playing 'Dreamers Ball' on the flip, SEMI 89000 - Ex/VG+), Bohemian Rhapsody, Bicycle Race and You're My Best Friend, Hungary - Bicycle Race (x2), Now I'm Here and We Are The Champions, Spain - Body Language, We Will Rock You and Radio Ga Ga, Belgium - Tie Your Mother Down, Bohemian Rhapsody (white/red p/s) and You're My Best Friend, Poland - Somebody To Love and Sweden - Crazy Little Thing Called Love. DAVID BOWIE - AUSTRALIAN/NEW ZEALAND - 7" RELEASES. Diggin' down under with this selection of 8 x not often seen Aussie/New Zealand 7". Titles are Magic Dance (Aussie 1986 promo RPS 20 - Ex+ a couple of very faint hairlines/Ex original export company sleeve), Space Oddity (perhaps the top Aussie rarity? Original Philips release BF-452, please note graded as G with many surface marks and a couple of light scratches, none of which are deep, also with some damage to the label on the A side), Sorrow (NZ 60642 - VG+ playing surfaces, wear to labels), John I'm Only Dancing (Aussie 103520 - Ex), Heroes (Aussie EP RCA 20629, original no 'black nose' on label - Ex+/Ex+ top copy), Ashes To Ashes (Aussie 103671 - Ex) and Rebel Rebel (2 x Aussie RE with variant sleeves, 20610 wrap-around sleeve, both Ex+ copies).
DAVID BOWIE - S/T (US ORIGINAL DERAM STEREO LP, DES 18003). Extremely hard to come by original US stereo pressing of the Duke's iconic debut LP (DES 18003). The record is in very clean Ex condition; super glossy playing surfaces with extremely clean labels, there are a couple of very light and faint hairline markings that are perhaps moreover noted on side 2. The sleeve is in well presented VG condition. A solid example, there is shelfwear along the spine that has caused a seam split with some clear tape repair on the top edge of the spine too. The reverse is in nice order with only a little light foxing. As would have been common with this release, there is a small import notch on the bottom right/left front/reverse.
DAVID BOWIE - TVC 15 7" (JAPANESE PROMO P/S SS-3019). Seldom seen original Japanese promo of TVC 15 c/w We Are The Dead (SS-3019 white labels/black text). The record is in overall Ex condition; playing surfaces certainly Ex+ showing but a couple of extremely faint, minor and wispy markings, there is some light foxing to the labels on both sides. The textured original picture sleeve is in Ex+ condition with two very minor 'creases' (a far too strong word!) on the top corners.
DAVIE JONES WITH THE KING BEES - LIZA JANE - ORIGINAL UK VOCALION PROMO (V 9221). Holy grail time for Bowie fans with the original UK 7" demo of Liza Jane c/w Louie, Louie Go Home (Vocalion 'DEMONSTRATION NOT FOR SALE' V 9221). The record is visually graded as VG with some surface marks and scuff markings to both playing sides. At no point do these extend deeper with no feelable scratches to mention. Playback is not distorted with both sides of this double header sounding as raucous as ever! The labels are nice and clean with the four pronged centre fully intact. Matrix: CPDRF-33317-T1-1C & 3318-TI-1C. Housed with a 60s Mercury company sleeve.
ELTON JOHN - I'VE BEEN LOVING YOU 7" (PHILIPS BF 1643). Bursting on the scene in 1968 was Elton John with his debut 45 I've Been Loving You c/w Here's To The Next Time (this the original UK copy on Philips BF 1643). The record is in terrific Ex+ condition showing only a couple of very minor, light faint and wispy markings to the playing surfaces. With crisp and sharp labels with the 3 pronged centre fully intact. Complete with clean VG+ condition original Philips sleeve.
DONALD BYRD - BYRD-JAZZ LP (TRANSITION TRLP 5). From 1956 here is the extremely seldom seen original US pressing of the album (Transition TRLP 5). The record is in VG condition with the playing surfaces a little faded and some surface marks which are more noted on side 2 on tracks B3 and B4. At no point do these extend deeper and there are no feelable scratches to mention. Side 1 label has partially lifted. The sleeve is in neat VG+ condition. Showing exceptional colour to the striking design, there is some light peeling to the laminate on the top right (front) where there is also a small piece of clear tape that has repaired a small seam split.
MICHAEL GARRICK - PROMISES (UK TEST PRESSINGS) AND EPs. Incredible to see collection of UK Argo test pressings of the sublime Promises album (1 x double sided, 1 x single sided) along with 2 x rare EPs. Also with the 2 Argo EPs Before Night/Day (EAF 115 - G+ surface marks and a couple of light scratches/VG+ a neat sleeve with some light laminate wear) and Anthem (ZFA 92 - please note the record is graded as Fair with many surface markings and some light scratches which are not heavier/VG fully intact sleeve with creasing to the laminate though no rips or tears).
KENNY DORHAM - TROMPETA TOCCATA LP (ORIGINAL STEREO BLUE NOTE BST 84181). Dorham said of his playing on this LP: "..I got out of Bird's shadow, as important as Bird was for me. There's more and more I feel I can do, these days it strikes me that the sky's the limit." This can certainly be heard on this excellent example of the original US stereo pressing (BST 84181). The record is in VG+ condition showing a few rather light and minor surface markings that are at no point of a heavier nature. The sleeve (43 West 61st St) is in clean Ex condition with just a little foxing and some minor edgewear. Complete with original company inner.
