WWI – Board Game Unsere U-Boote a German board game dating from 1916 the object of which was to attack Britain with u-boats. The game appears virtually complete with playing board featuring a map of the UK and Ireland with four illustrations of U-Boat activity. Some playing pieces may be missing but it appears that they the substantial majority of the pieces are still present including die cast ‘U-Boats’ and Union Flags(presumably the targets for the U-Boats). Full playing instructions (in German) are included printed on the under side of the box lid. The game is contained in its original box with illustrated cover and is in remarkably good condition. Excessively rare.
